These little race cars are so much fun. The kids enjoyed playing with them. The cars are packed neatly in a thicker cardboard box that can be used as storage after playing. The cars and remotes are held in place by plastic screws so there is no need to destroy box to remove them. The little drivers are held in by a plastic tie but you can pull them out without much difficulty. You need a small screwdriver to insert batteries into the cars and remotes. Now were the screw is located on both the cars and remotes there is a semicircle piece that keeps the screw from falling out and dropping somewhere on the floor or in the grass. Even though that semicircle piece is slightly raised from base of car it does not effect play. The remotes have two button controls very easy for the 2 year old to control. The cars worked on carpet, hard floors, and pavement. They did keep getting stuck in the grass but the grass in the yard is long at moment. The cars make different sounds when you press certain areas on the car and lights that flash when sound is playing. There also is an on/off switch at bottom. The figures are interchangeable between the cars. Pros: You get two cars and two remotes for the price of one. So no fights if you have 2 children over who's turn it is. No fighting with box to remove toy and then having to apply extras or waiting for it to charge. Just need batteries and small screwdriver. Easy controls for younger kids. Only 2 buttons on remote. Easy to clean up. Everything fits neatly back inside box even with figures in cars. Con: Requires a lot of batteries(10). If you don't have enough batteries to power both and children see cars you may get a meltdown. I learned hard way. Over all great toy would get again especially if other colors were offered. ... show more

Units are well made and uncomplicated to use. Worth noting is that often when ordering plastic toys the plastic is cheap and paint jobs are minimal. This set is surprisingly nice. Even the detail work on both the cars and drivers is very good. Haven't used them yet, but have installed the TEN! batteries and are ready to go for our holiday gathering competition for young adults who are still kids at heart. We did a little test drive and everything works, sound, lights and cars run well and drivers fit securely into their cars. Think they will be great fun for all. I'll update after our gathering. Age is for 18months + and the control is a simple two button system that young ones will have fun figuring out which goes forward, which takes the car backwards. ... show more

My toddler really enjoys playing with these remote cars. It comes with two cars and the remote is super easy to operate. The buttons are bigger so it’s easy for little hands to control.
