I needed a clamp that would fit within a 2" diameter hole with a reach of about 3". The clamp couldn't be too long or short since I needed it to fit and hold a bracket in place while the part was positioned in place using a laser tracker. The clamp did great in holding the part in place while I drilled the fastener holes. I have to add that I tried at least four different c-clamps that were either too big, too short, or just wouldn't fit in the hole before finding this one. ... show more

    • Extra depth (2 inches) is very useful. These are nice clamps.

    • Good price, but poor quality control

At $11.00 each, the price is great on these clamps, the only problem is that you will have to live with big quality control problems. I bought two clamps. The screw lengths were different by a good half inch between the two. One of the clamps had a slight twist and was not true. The actual opening was eight inches or more and was different between the two. The material clearance opening was 3-3/4" and would measure approx. 4" to center of screw, so I'll give them that, but you may have problems actually getting the clamp around 4" stock. The difference between the two clamps was amazing to me, and looked like they were made in two different manufacturing plants. This may be an actual case of seeing a move to China. Even with the problems stated above, I can use the clamps, but would not buy Olympia again. ... show more

    • Not made of steel. Product description is an outright lie.

Product is cast iron, not steel as claimed in the product description. Nowhere near as strong as a steel clamp. Not a complete piece of junk, but not steel as claimed. If you need the strength of a steel c-clamp, don't buy this one.
