    • For Longchamp large tote, buy *Slender* large size

UPDATE: I've now purchased both the "Large Slender" and the regular Large model to use with my large Longchamp tote. The Large Slender insert is wider (13") than the regular Large (11"), so it fits perfectly from left to right in my Longchamp, and it leaves space in the front (or back) to fit my laptop next to it. See original review below for the regular Large insert. But large slender is the winner for me! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought the large insert hoping it would fit my Longchamp large expandable tote. (Disclaimer, this insert is advertised for a different brand of bag). Overall it's a pretty good fit, not perfect. This large insert is not wide enough for the large Longchamp, so it leaves a little open space on the side where I guess I could fit a water bottle. However, it does take up the full depth of the longchamp (front to back). In retrospect, maybe I should have tried the large *slender* insert instead, which is a couple inches wider but less deep. Maybe with the slender size I could fill the full tote left to right, but have some space in the front or back to add my laptop (currently I can't fit my laptop in the longchamp tote with this insert). But I don't know that for sure. It would be nice to get confirmation from someone who's tried the large slender size in a Longchamp. The felt material seems a little flimsy, but hopefully it will hold up. Overall this is still excellent value for the price. ... show more
