Although these are not heavyweight very warm sweatshirts (I bought four in different colors), they are perfect in every way I can think of. But then again I do like corduroy. They are soft and, very importantly for somebody who has had open heart surgery, they are smooth on the inside and do not irritate the scar. The pockets are spacious, the colors are very, very nice and they fit very well. Once the weather cools off a little bit, one can always wear a long sleeve T-shirt underneath for a bit of added warmth. The feel is unique & nice. Feels like corduroy on the outside but soft in the inside. Fit was true to size for me. Not as thick as a heavy sweatshirt, but still good for cool days. The dusty purple is really pretty in person.
