Love it! My third Carhartt hoodie, and they are an excellent value for the price. Fits perfectly. The fabric is warm, soft, midweight (10 ounce) but also feels durable enough for outside work if you need it for that purpose. I have a 5 year old Carhartt zipper hoodie in the same line/fabric and it has held up well after many washings and use. I expect these hoodies to last me for years to come. The media pocket is surprisingly useful. Washes up nicely, no shrinkage that I have noticed. My only complaint is the brand name sprawled down the full length of one sleeve but that is a minor aesthetic gripe. ... show more

I write A LOT of reviews because through reading reviews from others, I feel I can make a more informed decision. I hope this one helps you as reviews from others helped me make the decision to buy this hoodie. I bought size medium for work. I truly needed it a little oversized because if I need to wear a hoodie, I still need to be able to move in it & I cannot have it ride up in the back or be too short in the front should I raise my arms. I work nearly 100% with men in the construction industry. I bought this hoodie in black. It has white logo & arrived exactly as shown on the model. I'm 5'3", 124lbs, 34C & bought a medium which was oversized. It fell to below my belt line below my waist & was long enough that I didn't even worry a little about raising my arms or bending over & exposing anything. The hoodie kept me well covered & warm. I wash/dry like normal. No special attention to hang drying or special detergent needed. With or without a dryer sheet, this hoodie is soft but is especially soft with use of a dryer sheet. I don't always use one in my laundry if I'm washing my wool based socks. Sometimes I washed the hoodie alone just to use a dryer sheet. I don't dry my wool based socks with a sheet which is why I differentiate. ;) There is a small pocket inside the kangaroo pocket where my hands go that is meant for a cell phone. While others used it & liked it, I felt with my phone case, the pocket was too small for my phone (Samsung se10). The hoodie does have stretch to it & is very cozy & comfortable. I'd definitely buy another one & would love to see these in different colors. One of the guys at work has one in turquoise blue with orange lettering. I like the color combo of that as well but not sure about the men vs women fit. This was a very good purchase in my opinion & I hope someone who is on the fence about this purchase as it is a bit pricey, take a leap of faith & makes the purchase. This was an Amazon buy that I was & still am very happy with. I've had the hoodie for about a month now & launder it at least twice a week. It has held up very well & hasn't pilled at all. I can't stand that. The hood is a generous size & the strings are long enough to use but not super long like some hoodies. It's really just a great hoodie all around. I absolutely love this hoodie. It fits exactly how I want it to in certain areas but I do warn that if you’re a bit on the thicker or muscular side, especially in the arms, that you size up. I have a bit of muscle in my arms due to my work so the sleeves are a little tighter than I would like around my upper arms so it makes it hard to move sometimes. The thickness is to DIE for! It’s thick and warm for those harsh months and even has a little hidden pocket in the kangaroo pocket which I thought was freaking awesome. Really happy with this hoodie! Despite shipping all the way to Norway, it came faster than expected. The colours are nice, and especially the contrasts has a great glowing colour. Its a relaxed fit as it says, but i find the fit slightly strange. I like them either big or "normal", and this came in somewhere in between that. But not bad at all.
