I bought this (48" long desk) for a small clinical office room and it's perfect. My requirements were having enough space to place a laptop, no foot bar or 'x' brackets across the back, and to sit across from someone with enough breathing room for the both of us. Not having the back of the desk obstructed with support bars was a difficult find! This desk has smaller support bars at the corners and I have actually turned the desk around so that those bars (the 'back' of the desk) is on my side. This way, patients/clients can sit comfortably without running into support bars on their side. The height of this desk is just right for this purpose, too. I've had less expensive desk purchases before and over time, they loosen, wiggle, and sway. The way that this desk is constructed, though, I don't foresee that happening or if it does, I should be able to tighten up the screws again. Amazing desk for the price. It is so easy to put together and is very strong after done so instructions are easy to fallow and it looks so good with the black sharp finish sits at the right hight for a child and is it takes the cake when it comes to be sturdy.

This desk is of good value. It’s not the highest quality of material; however, even on carpet this desk is stable. I received all the pieces to build the desk, none were missing. I wiped down the desk but instructions say not to use strong chemicals, but most I used to clean the desk is Pine Sol spray. The reason I rated 4 stars is because wit does not truly fit 2 monitors and a laptop unless your monitor is small. I have two wide montiors and have to angle the olmonitor to have it perfectly fit the table but easy to install, make sure to read instructions but if you mess up it’s quick to redo. My 19 year old only child son left home I mean hit the ground running ! His daily words "Im never coming back to this hell hole town" Couldn't wait to leave home and go live in a college dorm 2 hours away. It was devastating to this mom. After two months of sobbing and empty nesting I really started to embrace my new life. Even started to turn his room into my dream craft room. Hubs and I became puzzle experts really digging peace and solitude....and here we are...Running back home. I hate it mom! I can't do this mom! Mom the showers have bugs! Mom the food is ass! Mom I need my dog! Coming home EVERY WEEKEND. So heeeeesss baaaaack. coming home to finish out the college life 🙄 Had to move my cool crap out and set up his room AGAIN. I didn't want to spend a ton,also have really small rooms. Found this darlin for 40 bucks and the chair from Amazon to. Works perfect ! Just enough space still has floor space. Isn't ugly. This little desk is easy to assemble with the tools provided. And the side pocket is a nice addition. It holds books, papers, pencils, cords, plugs, etc. to keep the little desk neat. The desk top is a perfect size for a laptop with mouse on one side, and folder on the other.
