Glasses we're alright but you can't expect much for the price. If you have longer hair be careful because it'll probably get snagged in the arms of the glasses.

I got these for function ONLY. The style is traditional aviator and nothing unique but it does look nice. The quality of material is a decent polymer and seems like it will hold up OK. The lenses are also polymer and can confirm they are polarized. I used them fishing and they instantly cut the glare just as I had hoped, making the structure in the shallow pond by my house easily visible. They are also very lightweight as a result of being all polymer construction. It has the feeling of wearing "nothing" on your face after a while which is nice. I would recommend these glasses for active folks who need the polarization and light weight of the glasses. The affordable price also makes these something replaceable if they get damaged.

When I was younger, and had a little bit of cash to throw around, I bought myself a pair of a very expensive name brand sunglasses. At the time, they probably cost me a half week’s wages. I lost or broke those MANY years ago and have been settling for “el cheapo” sunglasses ever since. The name brand sunglasses were nice, but I just couldn’t bring myself to shell out that kind of money for another pair like that again. When these sunglasses came available, I was quick to jump on them! Are people going to be thinking “OOoooo… he’s wearing Olidon’s” Probably not! (BTW… Olidon is the brand name of these sunglasses!) There’s no fancy logo indicating who they’re made by. But your eyes are going to thank you regardless! The sunglasses arrived in a carrying case that will be nice to have and store them in when not in use. The case is not indestructible, but will do nicely. The frame front is made of a black, plastic material and comes in a matte finish. The temples (arms) are also made of plastic but are in a deep silver or dark gray color. The only hint of any sort of decoration is a small rectangle of shiny silver on the outside, front end of the temples. My guess is that this small piece of metal is meant more for structure dealing with the hinge than it is for decoration. I would consider the sunglasses to be aviator style, but I’m not positive that is the correct “fashion term” or not?!?!? The frames are very lightweight, but don’t feel like they’re going to break after wearing them a few times. They feel like they’re going to be able to handle the constant putting on and taking off processes. There isn’t much “give” in the frames, but just enough to make them easy to slide on and off. The tips of the temples have a black pad inset that gives them a slight amount of grip as well as a slight amount of padding. The bridge area fits nicely on my nose… but, of course, we’re all made differently. They feel quite comfortable and have not been irritating at all to wear. I’ve had sunglasses before that got to be more and more uncomfortable the longer I wore them. These haven’t proven to be that way. The matte finish is not smooth and slick like other sunglasses and I think the slight texture helps them stay in place on my nose. The lenses are a dark green in color. They are polarized and do a good job of keeping the glare down. They are made of some sort of plastic (excuse me… Acetate, according to the description). All in all, I think these are going to make a wonderful pair of sunglasses for me! I’m old enough that I’ve gotten past the need of having a fancy logo showing what brand I’m wearing. Give me these Olidon’s and I’ll be just fine! Now… I’ve got to inform you. I received these sunglasses in exchange for my unbiased review. Do I think receiving them altered my review in any way? Nope. If they’d felt horrible or cheap, I would have let you know. They are VERY lightweight, but they don’t feel cheap at all!

I recently broke my name brand sunglasses and these look very similar indeed to the name brand style but are more affordably priced. They arrived in a very light and somewhat flimsy case that is similar to crushproof cases but can actually be crushed without a lot of effort. That's fine, I don't use one of these to store my sunglasses anyway and it served the purpose of keeping the sunglasses safe in transit. The sunglasses themselves are quite comfortable. The plastic is not as wide and sturdy as the sunglasses these replaced so it doesn't feel quite as good on my face, but it's not that important as these still feel quite good. They also have a nice spring that keeps the sides close against my head. I'd go jogging or rock climbing in these and never worry about them coming off. This is very important and avoids having to readjust my shades so often while waring them. All things considered, I'm happy with the sunglasses and if they last me a few years I'd probably consider buying another pair.

I'm not a sunglasses guy but needed to give in and get a pair. These are nice and lightweight. I like the looks and they do the job. The "case" they come with is not a case. A ziplock back will protect them as much but they arrived fine. They are no name brand quality but they are good for what they are !

These sunglasses do separate themselves from average sunglasses in a few ways. First, they're super lightweight, while maintaining durability. I've had them for months now in pants pockets, backpacks, and cars, and they're good as new. Second, the case is nice (although I don't use it). Third, the lense does seem to avoid getting scratched up or foggy. Of the half dozen pairs of cheap sunglasses I have in a pile to grab from when I'm heading outside, these have the clearest lenses. Others I have to take off because sunscreen or scratches have made them blurry to look through, and rinsing with water hasn't helped. These ones don't have that problem at all; they're consistently clear to look through. So for those reasons these are a good, reliable pair of sunglasses. They're great to use while running. Also I have a pretty big head and they don't squeeze my head at all; they're very comfortable to wear.

A little stiff and they'll probably snap the first time I sit on them, but they are great spare sunglasses to have. Nice and light as a feather. Comfortable as a warm blanket on your face. "Those make you look like an Architect!" says my daughter. Which is great cuz I'm an architect.
