I was so excited for this to be delivered. I think I've owned it about two years now. Solid construction and almost untipable with the weight I carry. Huge barge went passed me in the water. The wake was massive and way way up I went! And then way way down! Rinse and repeat after first wake. It was scary but I never tipped. Plenty of room in kayak and able to accesorize as needed. Two things I don't like- the remote screws on the battery access panel on the remote break VERY EASY so be careful. And the remote is NOT waterproof despite old town's claim. Also, seems like the motor slows down after a couple years but can't be sure it's not the battery making it slower . Customer service is exceptional with quick responses and helpful staff. They stand by their warranty and replaced my $230 remote with no charge. Got new remote within a couple days. The kayak is very heavy with gear and motor so invest in good kayak wheels or a trailer. Your back will thank you ... show more

    • Thoughts after one year.

Bought mine in limited edition Gray Ghost color. This was my very first fishing kayak and after one year I truly love this thing. The 136 is very stable on the water and allows you to stand and fish even in small waves. It’s a bit heavy but that due to the quality and thickness of the kayak. Plenty of storage and the minkota spot lock motor is a game changer for me. I use this mostly for bass fishing and have used it on the Great Lakes and also the finger lakes of NY. Plenty of room to add accessories like fish finders and rail mounted equipment. The seat is very comfortable and I can sit all day. Has a water tight compartment next to the seat to store important items such as a phone , keys etc. the only thing I would change is the heavy gauge plastic track trails on the sides and the plastic rudder. I would have loved to have seen aluminum on both. But still there is so many positives that I can’t reduce the stars I have this kayak. If you buy one you can expect great customer service and a lifetime warranty from old town. I for sure would buy again. ... show more

Only problem is that he was only comes with the trolling motor for that price they should at least give a paddle with it sense it don't come with the battery and the batteries ain't cheap at all.
