I bought this air mattress to save us money from having to get a hotel room for a few days while work was being done in our bedroom. We are in our 50's and in good shape, but after 4 nights of sleeping on it, we were craving our regular mattress. Don't get me wrong, this is a really nice air mattress. As others have mentioned, it's easy to inflate and it's solid. It doesn't lose air easily. We only had to top it off once over the 4 days. But, it's rock hard if you have it inflated all the way. For my back, I have to have a firm mattress, but this was a bit too firm. Yes, we did let out some of the air, but it was still hard. Had I expected it to be quite like that, I'd have ordered a soft mattress topper of some sort. I think if I'd had a topper, it'd have been fine. Since what I experienced with the mattress is more of a personal issue rather than a product issue, I'd say give this a try but perhaps make sure you have a topper...especially if you're middle aged and older. It's a great product overall. There is no odor that I could detect. It's easy to inflate. It's not difficult to deflate, but we found it best to let it lie for several hours to fully deflate. For the price this is a great portable air mattress. The built in electric pump was the cherry on top. Got 1 twin bed size for both my 4yr old grandbabies to sleep on for nights they stay over. Enough room for both to sleep on same side without knocking each other off the bed (with enough room for another lil one to sleep on opposite end. Only took 3-5 minutes to inflate and only about 2min to deflate. Sturdy, comfortable, no leaking of air, efficient and love that it's easy to use and put away. After just over 60 days from purchase, I am done! I’m honestly exhausted with this mattress. We bought it after another brand failed, and this one turned out to be just as bad — maybe worse. Within a short time, it developed a leak. We found the hole using the spray‑bottle method, fully deflated the mattress, and used Loctite vinyl adhesive exactly as recommended. Let it cure for 6 hours. Still leaking. Tried again. Still leaking. The problem is the seams. This mattress develops leaks in spots that cannot be repaired, no matter how careful you are. The vinyl is thin, the seams are weak, and every time you fix one issue, another one shows up. It’s like the material is degrading from the inside out. We’ve now spent more time patching this thing than actually sleeping on it. If you’re looking for something reliable, this is not it. Save yourself the frustration and buy a different brand.
