I had to return this item. I did not want to. But the purple simply didn’t blend as it should. The quality appeared good. The shag was thick and beautiful. Very sad I had to return! And while I am talking about returns…..Amazon has the easiest and most responsive return program. Go online, download your QR code onto your cell phone. Take return item and phone to the specified location ( in my case, Whole Foods) show your cell with QR # to the associate, give them the package and before you get home, your account has been credited. This is really a nice, plush, good-looking mat. It didn’t shed at all coming out of the package. I haven’t washed it yet, so I can’t speak to durability. I’m considering buying another for another room.

I made the mistake of not looking up the dimensions. When I got it I was a little sad it wasn’t as big as I thought. Otherwise I would not have gotten it. But overall it’s nice and very soft.
