The carpet came looking just like the picture. It's soft and pretty. However, the post on Amazon says "[Easy to Clean and Fade-Resistant] Our rugs are designed for convenience and longevity. I liked this color and pattern while looking for a bathroom mat. It also has very convenient sizes for my bathroom. It is very soft and cozy, and the color looks better in person than in the picture. I liked it so much that I ordered 2 more for my other bathrooms.
