Needed a cord for my Ring camera facing my yard. I placed it in a second-floor window, and it was not easy taking the battery out and recharging it every so often. Purchased this plug and it seems to be working well.

I had an external camera that was connectect by an AC power cord. By buying a battery and this cord I was able to tidy up the installation. Make sure to charge the battery before installing it as some have reported slow or inadequate charging time. The camera battery status does show 100 percent charged and connected to a solar panel after a day of being plugged in. The only negative is that the cord is a little fat and diffficult to hide or push into cracks. The power brick could also be more square so that it would more easily fit in an outside outlet protective box.

Liked it. Did what I needed it to do. Ended up being way longer than I needed but that is fine. It will be nice not having to keep climbing a ladder to change the battery in the camera

I purchased this to plug in my ring camera because the solar panel I had purchased didn't work. Our tree has grown and the solar panel is more in the shade than in the sun. This works great as we don't have to keep taking down the camera to charge the battery. Good price too.
