When I got this I was surprised by how light it was, so I tested it with the best mediums you use, water and cardboard. Water, because it's thin enough and cardboard because the spray pattern will show against it as it wets. First thing I noticed was a spotty flow, it kept throwing out globs of water, and second thing was, the trigger mechanism kept sticking as I pulled it, it would catch then jump all the way out, this waws when I got the best flow. So disregarding the manual that said don't try to fix it on your own, I thought "yeah right". What I found was that the spring metal piece that pivots against the trigger was reversed, so I was able to get a smoother trigger pull after this. ***But, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO THIS, do not void any warranties that may be in place. Once I had it going more as it should, I was still getting a very feeble spray, this is good for more of a detail-oriented kind of coverage. At a distance of approximately 4-6 inches, I was getting a coverage are of about 3/8" wide, this is a lot of passes if you're trying to cover something. The compressor on the other hand is a marvel, I was very surprised by the air flow it generated, it really does do the airbrush justice, just wish the same could have been said about the airbrush. Cleanup is quick and easy, there's a video called "2-minute cleanup" or something like that, watch it, it gives good info, and I was able to clean the airbrush in 2 shakes of a lamb's tail. And for those of you who are still macho and all of that, pink is just a color. Would I buy this again? Probably not. Would I recommend it to others? No.

I love the efficiency and the handheld aspect of the compressor. It feels great in the hand, and the battery lasts a long time. Combined with the nozzle that’s provided, the trigger is easy to reach and control. However, I was unable to get a focused spray. Testing with water, the spray came out very diffuse, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter at 6 inches distance, which was disappointing. The instruction sheet included was not clear enough that I could tell whether there are any adjustments that I might’ve made to make the spray More focused and narrower. As a result, the sprayer is usable, but only for very diffuse color applications. And it has a tendency to sputter and drip if you’re not careful.

The first time I used this, I tried with just straight water. The compressor was working and air was coming out but no water mist. I had my husband look at it and he took off the removable tip that I couldn’t get off. He said that the needle valve was bent so he straightened it and now it seems to work fine.

The media could not be loaded. This is a very comfortable in hand little air brush compressor that is very easy and comfortable to use, clean, and learn the basics. Unlike professional compressors, it doesn't have any tubes or wires coming out and the entire unit can be held comfortably in one hand. However it does over-spray and leak when not in use. The nozzle will drip when standing and not using. If you order it I would test it first with water to make sure the one you received doesn't leak like mine did. It is not a big deal since you have to use water-based paints anyway and they are easy to wipe, but you will have to be mindful of nozzle leaks as you work with it.

This is a very good quality Airbrush kit. It comes in a very nice and durable box. The Airbrush kit comes with all that you need to get started except for the actual paint. I am new to airbrush painting. I am going to be using this kit to airbrush some 3D prints. This airbrush kit seems easy enough to get put together to use. The instruction manual was very clear and easy to follow. The airbrush set is rechargeable and it's easy to carry around. It's very comfortable to hold in my hand. I have another airbrush at a similar price point, but this one is better. The grip of it is more comfortable and there's less assembly/disassembly needed. It gives a nice, even flow of paint. First I used an airbrush paint with a bit of flow improver, and then I used a regular acrylic paint with an airbrush thinner and flow improver. It worked great. I tried it out on a canvas, which worked well and on a metal wall plate which was the least successful (probably because I had not primed it first--I was just curious to see what happened). Cleanup was very easy. My airbrush is on the charger now so it can be ready for tomorrow when I'll be applying some color-shift overcoat to an accent wall. It's going to be fun! This is a very nice kit and I am very happy with it. I would recommend this product.

I originally intended to use this for airbrushing craft projects, but have only used this for a water mister so far. When first opening, the battery compartment was unscrewed and I had to readjust it so that it would close. The battery is rechargeable so isn't the type you replace and I am not sure why this was open like this - but it worked fine. I wish it had come with better instructions since I am a beginner and I'm not entirely sure how to use it. I've only used water to test out the stream, which does spray lightly and evenly but that may change depending on what's put in it. I love the pink color and that it comes with cleaning supplies and storage bag. The small size and the fact that it's cordless makes it extremely portable which is also a plus. I look forward to using it while learning how to airbrush.
