Perfect set of wood pieces
Building a tiny house (model sized) and this really upgraded the look of everything. Very easy to work with and cuts easily with an xacto knife, or cutters. Good assortment of sizes for small to medium-sized projects.

Good Balsa Wood
This is standard balsa wood. Lightweight and easy to cut. Works well for building crafts. The wood is quite soft, but comes without damage and with a smooth enough finish for crafting. The value of the package feels about right for the price. The sizes are all as described. We like using these for constructing model planes. Balsa isn't sturdy, but this is sturdy enough.

Real balsa wood, adequate quality for crafts
This is a set of balsa wood sticks in two square section sizes and ten wood sheets of the stated size. Lightweight and porous, easy to cut and file, real wood. The size is accurate, and the sheets have almost no warping in spite of everything being packaged in just zipper bags. This set is described as intended for “wooden crafts”, and the quality is adequate for the stated purpose, thus my rating at five stars. For model building, where uniformity of the grain and no defects is required, about one third of each type in the set that I got is meeting the level of quality. The one improvement I would like to see is packaging these into small, tight fitting cardboard boxes, to add some rigidity and hopefully avert any warping while stored or in shipping.
