I typically use size "small" gloves. However, I checked my hand according to their measurement guide as recommended by the listing and according to that measurement I ordered small in this brand. The small fits perfectly and they provide excellent hand protection in the kitchen. Overall fit/specifically the finger fit is really good, no flapping at the fingertips. I find that they wipe off easily with a paper towel/rag if desired during food processing. If you are finding that they rip easily perhaps the next size up would help with that issue. This is my second time purchasing, these have been great gloves that I primarily use to prep food with. Sometimes I will use them to clean as well, but usually I stick to handling food with them. The only times I have torn them have been likely because of sharp nails, otherwise they are really strong and durable despite how thin they are.
