I got this as a birthday/chridtmas gift. I thought about getting one with shelves on the sides, but am so glad I got this one. It’s really nice looking and fits with my other furniture much better. If I get a different place that doesn’t have a real fireplace, I’ll probably put it in the living room, but this one is in my room for now. My apartment isn’t insulated well, so it heats my room up well. It took my mom and I maybe an hour and a half to put together? It was fairly easy! Also, my tv is a 65 inch and it fits just fine with one of those swivel stands (probably not the stands that are at the ends of the tv) I recommend this and would definitely buy it again!

I waited a month to write this review and this fireplace is still making my room feel charming. Yes it is a tedious process to assemble but the finished product is worth the effort. The instructions are clear enough to follow. Take your time and don’t try to do it in one sitting. I love the settings of the fire and the changing light colors. Simply an ambiance that I enjoy. As others posted.,The side stone look is just a look and not real stone but it doesn’t effect the realistic visual aspect. I love the changing colors and the heat is sufficient for a 10 X 12 room fit. I would buy it again without hesitation.

Superb fireplace with took about 4 hours to put it together a lot of instructions look at the pictures thoroughly to figure it out but the instructions are pretty decent it was missing two washers and two screws but outside of that everything was good no scratches no defects and the fireplace now looks flawless but plan on about 4 to 5 hours to put it together if you're casually working and you're watching TV and talking etc and even though the fireplace didn't come with a light kit You can buy a LED color light kit for $9 with a remote The heating system gives off a lot of heat so it really warms up a room really fast and it's very very quiet!!! You only need a Phillips screwdriver it says don't use a power drill with a Philips tip but if you're good with a drill and don't over tighten the screws I would absolutely use a drill otherwise you'll be there all day putting this thing together. 5 STARS!!!

Flames are beautiful. Is very sturdy and was easy to put together. The only complaint is the cabinet door. It is not hinged it just sits on 2 poles and falls off easy.

The parts are clearly numbered and the quality appears to be very good. However, the instructions are step by step pictures of how to assemble, not step by step instructions. This may potentially be a nice looking electric fireplace once assembled, and I expect it will be, but in order to find out I'm going to have to hire someone to build it who is a better interpreter of picture by picture instructions. It would be really nice for folks like me who need more detailed instructions to include more detailed instructions, not just pictures Got it assembled and it looks and works great. We were actually able to figure it out and did it ourselves. It took a while but we also took our time, which I suggest. Other than the difficulty of putting it together with challenging instructions, it's a solid unit at a reasonable price.
