This is a great buy and works great on chocolate. Look at the pictures to see the end result for chocolate-covered strawberries. My wife used these for some chocolate-covered strawberries, and they came out excellent. The chocolate doesn't change in texture, and the final result is a brilliant color, Every bottle is very small, and I used about 4 drops to get a very light tone, which means that if you were trying to do darker colors you would probably use up that color pretty fast. Overall, I think this is solid value but if you intend to use 1 specific color many times, you will probably be serviced well by getting this kit to determine what color you really want and then buy that color in bulk as needed. 5 stars. ... show more

Used these both for a butter based frosting and for crafts. It does a great job of retaining the color in fat based goods. I was pleased. I also used these to make my own alcohol ink for a craft. This product was easy to use and I liked how many options there were, but these colors were not vibrant at all. I tried to make bright green and used the grass green, I used 70 drops, yes, 70 and it still wasn’t ‘vibrant’ at all. The grey is more blue than grey. I wasn’t happy with the product.
