These are a great upgrade for my Traxxas stampede. The shocks are pre-filled with oil which is a plus. The shocks also have aluminum body so after a few test runs these shocks performed great and look great. The sharks are priced competitively and shipping was fast. They are a few millimeters longer than the factory shocks that came on the Traxxas stampede but that will not be an issue. I will probably be looking into getting some more shots like this for some of my other RC vehicles, definitely will die again.

I don't know if they sent the wrong shock to me or what? I have some other aluminium shocks I bought here and was happy with but these are really large and way too stiff for a slash. They are really nice but these should be on an 1/8 or 1/7 scale monster truck not a 1/10 slash

Looked good but were so bad they broke my $70 traxxas slash body jumping it on two little jumps and the eyelets popped out and would not go back in place.. i was kinda bummed that they do not function as good as they look. For someone that only drives on asphalt they might be ok but if you go off road at high speeds i would stay away from these

The springs are really stiff for a 1/10th scale truck, and "springy" which can help with ride height. However, there's not a lot of actual shock absorption being done. The oil that it comes with is too thin, a strong spring which makes the car really bouncy. However they look cool and with their big bore, they can really take a beating. If you're just looking for inexpensive shocks are that durable, look good, give the car more height, and are easily adjustable, these are a decent buy. Outside of that, don't buy these if you're looking for any real performance.
