This is a much sturdier version of the other similar wallets you see for sale at a much lower cost. I've had this one for about a month now and it seems to be holding up well. I cannot say that it holds any more than the less expensive models but it appears secure and does not appear that it would open if I dropped it. The cheaper models open every time I accidentally drop them. Yes, it is more expensive but I found the quality and build to be superior. It also has an exterior that is not so slippery that it slides out of my pocket while sitting on the sofa - a regular problem with the cheaper models. It also looks much more professional. I would buy it again, despite finding the price a bit high.

I’ve used Ogon original Stockholm for the past 6 years and it has served me very well (I’m strictly card person). After 6 years of everyday use the Stockholm has accumulated numerous scratches, dings and wear and it was time for me to replace. I was looking for an another Ogon Stockholm and came across V2 in Carbon Fiber. It was pricy, but I’ve placed an order as I expect it will be better than the original version and that it will serve me many years to come. Item arrived quickly in a unique gift box that is different from other Stockholm Original and V2 models. This is indeed real Carbon Fiber that is well done and STUNNING!! The surface is glossy and smooth yet does not feel slippery as the original version in anodized aluminum. I was aware that V2 will not hold as many cards as the original version due to the difference in # of slots, but I figure it will be ok for me as I normally kept 10 cards (including a paper thin SS card) in Stockholm original. <Capacity> - Original : 7 slots / 12 cards - V2 : 6 slots / 10 cards Although, the description had stated that V2 will hold 10 cards, but in a reality when 10 cards (one card at each end slots and 2 cards each in the remaining 4 slots) are inserted, it’s slightly difficult to close. I’ve also noticed that the edge of standard size card rubs at the top of the compartment upon closing which adds friction to close the wallet. It looks as V2’s compartment cavity is slightly smaller than the Stockholm original due to water resistance feature. I really like the Carbon Fiber, but not sure if I will be keeping it at this price level. Aesthetically its hard to beat Carbon Fiber, but for functionality I could still purchase Ogon Stockholm original from Amazon at 1/3 of the price…….

The Ogon V2 Standard Size Wallet is very well constructed and is all aluminum. It has six pouches, each of which can hold two or three cards. If you are strictly a card carrier, this is fantastic wallet. If you still keep cash in your wallet, this one isn’t for you. There simply isn’t enough room in the pouches. The bills must be folded into thirds and stuffed into a pouch. It’s not convenient at all. If you are a cash carrier, you may want to get the Ogon V2 Large Aluminum wallet. It’s $10 more but there is room for everything in it. Some have complained that this wallet requires a lot of force to get it open. Actually, its quite easy to open when you learn the secret. Don’t place your thumb across the top or bottom of the latch. Instead, place your thumb longways along the length of the latch (see photo). Then press down and pull gently with your other thumb. The wallet will open easily with no bruised thumbs by doing it that way. Since the V2 is all aluminum, including the latch, your cards are completely protected from skimmers. Also, it’s water resistant and the contents will remain dry if it’s dropped into a toilet or a puddle. The Ogon V2 is very well made and is a high quality wallet. It’s made in France and the French turned out a superior wallet. I still carry cash, so it’s not for me, but if you carry only cards, this would be an excellent choice for an aluminum wallet.

I returned the wallet for three reasons: 1. It's too big for the amount of cards and cash it can carry. I had 6 cards and 3 USD folded. 2. Takes two hands to open, depress the latch and you have to separate to open. It will open more readily with a full set of cards but still required 2 hands. 3. The latch required depressing to close, again requiring two hands. 4. The PVC card slots looked like they might not wear well and the latch could fail and is easily bent. I ended up buying the https://www.amazon.com/dp/B095W82H8J?ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details&th=1 HICOW Leather card case holder Italian Leather made in Italy for $25.90, almost half the price of the Ögon V2. Very well made and holds up to 15 cards and some cash..

I bought myself a hard case but not as nice as this one that my husband requested after seeing how nice the credit cards fit and easy to find everything right away and no difficulty pulling out your ID. Hubby really likes the wood look and how it protects criminals from getting his card information. It was well worth the money for peace of mind and he’s had people asking about his new wallet case. Also the durability is holding up very well considering the size of my husband. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Makes a great gift to you favorite people.
