The extruder gear broke halfway through a large print. The poorly laid-out Creality print slicer makes achieving a good first layer print time-consuming and requires extensive g-code adjustments. The auto calibration process is unclear and unavoidable, even if the calibrate box is unchecked. Dealing with this printer has resulted in wasted filament and multiple headaches.
