This is a fine product. The board is large enough to hold a lot of information. The pens write well and the eraser erases well. NOW PEOPLE understand that the manufacturer shows the pens and eraser on the refrigerator doors...yes, to display the product. I have read too many complaints about poor magnets that don't hold the pens and eraser to the doors. I have no problems with them.....WHY?.....because I'm smarter than the low power magnets, I put the pens and easer on the side of the refrigerator AND GUESS WHAT? They don't fall off. And please don't snivel that it's too inconvenient, you are better than that.....Right?

The board itself seems to be fine. Nothing spectacular but it adheres well to the fridge and functions as it is supposed to. The major issue is the willful deception of the seller regarding the eraser, specifically the size of the eraser. Some people might this is a trivial gripe not worth mentioning and to those people I say with an eyeroll, Good for you, Sir and Madame Moneybags. But in the words of Donnell Rawlings from Chappelle’s Show, “I’m broke, b***h!” And as a broke person, the rampant false advertising on Amazon feels exploitative. Yeah, I get it. It’s just an eraser. But in all reality, it’s more than that. When you’re strapped for cash and time, you need to be able to make purchasing decisions efficiently because your time and energy are always needed elsewhere. Efficient purchasing decisions require accuracy in product descriptions and images. No one should have to go through the reviews to discover that a seller has misrepresented a product. That’s messed up. The seller should simply be factual in how they present what they are selling. In no one’s mind could the eraser included in the package be considered big, as it is described in the info provided by the seller and on the packaging itself. But let’s pretend for a moment that I’m a native to the fantastical island of Lilliput and I do indeed believe the eraser to be humongous. Even in that case, I would still consider it false advertising based on the images provided by the seller. If we look at the packaging and images provided on the product page and we believe them to be true to scale real images of the product, the eraser should be 5.328 inches in length. That, in my opinion, would certainly be a big, or at least moderately sized, eraser. Instead, the actual eraser is approximately 2.875 inches at its longest point, just slightly over half of what is expected based on the advertising. Shame on the seller and double shame on Amazon for continuing to allow SHADY sellers to willfully misrepresent products. Maybe Bezos could spend a little less on a risible proxy phallus measuring contest and more on fixing the ever-growing unchecked problems within Amazon. Or just fix the problems and continue to engage in juvenile displays of power. Whatever. The bottom line is that the countless issues with unethical sellers need to be fixed.

Update 2: I ended up ordering two more of these -- one for me and one for a friend. One came with a tiny, bone-shaped eraser. The other came with an eraser 3 times the size of the small one. BOTH were packaged with a claim of BIG MAGNETIC ERASER, which would be fine if the small one wasn't just 1.5 inches by 2.25 inches. Not "big." Not at all. Aside from that, they're fine. I bought a package of black dry erase markers, which will hopefully take care of the staining problem I had before. 4 stars, now. It would be nice if they were consistent with regards to the items included.My original review for this whiteboard, which I ordered on November 22, 2020, read: I LOVE this! I bought it to replace a much smaller, bulkier, and well-used one. This one is fantastic! I would 100% buy this again if I needed it! UPDATE: It is now August 11, 2021, and I've misplaced the black marker that came with this set, so the other day, I used the blue and the red ones that were also included. When I tried to erase them, the colors just smeared all over the place. I've tried every method google coughed up, to no avail. If I'd known that was an issue, I would have simply bought more black dry erase markers, and all would be well. That being said, I do like the size and usefulness, so I will be ordering a new one. I will not be using any of the markers, aside from the black one. Two stars for the crappy markers, the added expense of ordering a new one, and the inconvenience. Sorry. :(

Poorly made, it is just a sheet of magnetic material covered with white paper and a clear film. The clear film is not trimmed well at all. On one corner the clear plastic has torn the paper away from the magnet. Just junk! It was all packaged around some super-cheap Styrofoam, with eraser and markers EMBEDDED in the foam. When I opened the plastic cover the Styrofoam beads got all over. Prying the imbedded pens out made it even worse. I got magnetic styro beads all over myself and my kitchen. I am quite angry about the packaging. The white board itself is probably too poorly made for actual use. Don't waste your money on this Styrofoam bead "bomb".

The white board is great. Exactly what I wanted. The best part is that it's shipped flat rather than rolled up. Others brands are shipped rolled up, which makes them virtually impossible to flatten and use. It's worth $15 even without pens and an eraser. The surface of the white board is nice and slick, so it should keep working for a very long time. I had almost given up my search for a good white board when I discovered this one. HIGHLY RECOMENDED! Regarding the accessories--the pens and eraser--the magnets on them are lousy; almost worthless. The first time I shut my refrigerator door, most of them just fell off. Luckily I already have plenty of pens, and an eraser with a strong magnet that I glued onto it myself. I would definitely recommend this white board for your refrigerator. Unlike the pens and eraser, the white board sticks very well to the door.
