  • A must have for doing drive shafts
Style: Small
I absolutely love this tool. It makes it so much fast and easier to do drive shafts now. Used it multiple times and have even let buddies borrow it and they ordered one after they used mine. 10/10 recommended

  • Where has this been my whole life!
Style: Small
Good size for gm trucks and my jeep wrangler. I had no idea this tool was a thing. I have been doing it with a vice, press, and sockets to remove the old joint. Slap this baby on, and run it with an impact to zip the u joints out. And the instructions do say it's impact safe!

  • theres a technique to it

instead of muscling it, load the bolt then tap the yolk and cap with a ball pein. Just enough to rattle everything, not hard enough to drive things home. A little penetrating oil. Then tighten and tap again, repeating until the cap is out.

  • So good, you’ll want to use it again
Style: Small
The media could not be loaded. I am beyond happy. I was knocking the u-joints out with the C clamp style press, using a torch and hammering away to get original u-joints out of 04 Chevy 2500. It took me near half the day for one drive shaft. With the power of this tool. It took me 10 minutes to get both u joints out of the yoke and drive shaft. I was so happy I nearly knocked over the wife rushing inside to tell her. (She doesn’t care btw) but still have to show off my victory! ... show more

  • Arrived packed well, and in good condition.

I hope to not use this tool. However, I do own a 2500 Ram with +100k on the odo. The vehicle has 10 u-joints with 40 bearings. Time will tell if this tool is worth the investment. 11/6/22 It didn't take long for the first u-joint to go bad. It was one of the worst, RH front knuckle. The tool would not move the u-joint without the addition of heat. The tool did work well to center the new u-joint after clip installation. It's a good tool, but you still have to use your mechanics cap. ... show more

  • Maybe my first bad review
Style: Small
Broke on first use (second cap actually) . Junk casting. Decent design. Job was A dana 44 front axle u-joint on an 08 jeep rubicon. Not a very stuck one either. Had no problem with my old c clamp type tool. OEM Wants customer to pay shipping. Warranty card stated 1 year warranty (ive had it a couple months) while box says limited lifetime. No better than the tool worked and no better than its built i may just cut my losses. Perhaps mine was just defective but having used the tool I can't see how it could last. OEM usually makes decent stuff This was trash. I'm just out 100 bucks ... show more
