This goose down comforter is amazing. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! I was surprised at how small and lightweight the box was when the driver handed it to me! That's because it was vacuum sealed. When you open the plastic vacuum sealed bag you'll need to allow the comforter time to puff up. Don't rush the process. It pops up immediately, but I noticed it continued to rise and puff up more as the evening progressed. The baffles are securely stitched and the fabric is of a very good quality. I knew it would be because it is Oeko-TEX certified and is also 100% organic. That means the manufacturer of this gorgeous comforter was concerned about offering a top grade, top notch product. This is a fine piece and should not be used without a duvet cover. My opinion, but a duvet cover not only can cut down on the washings ( yes it is washable), but it can protect the comforter from stains and damage. This comforter is filled with real down. Not feathers and not polyester fiberfill. It is the real deal! I can't wait for the weather to get cold so I can use this. We are going into August right now, so it's too hot to enjoy this magnificent comforter---but I'm excited about the prospect of using it on a chilly night. ... show more
