Style: Rear w/Lights
This bumper was easy to install all the holes and everything lined up looks good as long as it doesn't rust out right away it will be a great product time will tell.

  • Installed on 94 jeep wrangler yj
Style: Rear w/Lights
Very High-quality. Very sturdy. Almost has a rhino line type paint. Very easy to install. Holes line up perfect. Thick metal so will not bend easy. Heavy duty. 1 person install.

  • Solid functional and good looking on my jeep TJ
Style: Front w/Lights
Package arrived on time box and bumper we’re both in undamaged condition. Powder coating done right. Love the design of this bumper really looks nice on my 03 jeep TJ. Mounting was straightforward and took me about an hour. However I did need to use some spacers on the lower mounting bolts because there was too large of a gap to suck the bolts tight. I happen to have some quarter inch steel spacers but you can stack heavy duty washers to the desired thickness if you run into this issue. I would not let this discourage me from buying this bumper again. The LED lights do make nice running lights they are not designed to be spotlights but they are sufficient for adding extra lighting or night driving additional lights. The push bar however only uses one bolt on each side to mount it. It is more of a brush guard for a winch or a light bar bracket then a push bar. Still I am very pleased and would purchase again. I didn’t have my doubts at first about the thickness of the winch plate and whether or not it may bend during the use of my winch but I was proven wrong when I used my winch pull down a tree. I put a great deal of stress on the winch and it did not budge band or fail I was very surprised and extremely pleased. So in short this is a nice looking functional bumper with an adequate winch plate I would buy this again ... show more

  • It's an OK, cheap/budget bumper
Style: Front w/Lights
Updated to 1 star due to Oedro's support. D-Rings were missing on order, they stated to contact Amazon, Amazon says to contact mfg. Few things with this bumper. It's not 5/32 as stated, it's less then that, but not by much. The center lights are 9w LED's, not 30w. The side lights are more like 12w. The lights appear to be surface mount, but they are mounted from behind on a bracket. This makes the lights not line up evenly with the front. The paint isn't powder coated, but just cheap wrinkle feel enamel paint. The D Ring shackles are not welded from the back, just the front so I suspect they will not hold up if trying to pull anything heavier then the Jeep itself such as winching. Due to the thickness of the steel I wouldn't try doing any winching other then to pull the Jeep itself, and that may be pushing it. There is no way this bumper would hold up to winching something 9,000lbs let alone 12,000 as they state. The metal is just too thin for that kind of weight. Expect this to begin to rust within 30 days. It will start from the inside of the bumper where the metal isn't welded since it is not completely powdercoated. Mine already had started out of the box. The center where they decided to cut out to put the mfg name will rust quick. The box it ships in is actually a double wall box, no where near 7 layers...however they want to phrase/word it. Expect it to have scratches. There is just no way UPS or anyone handling this wont drop it or drag it. It has the appearance of all the pieces being welded to each other, but it's just a bunch of bends with very little welding done. The cuts are all good so most likely laser cut which is good. The front holes for the top bolts do not line up for a TJ. They may line up for a YJ ,but not sure. This is typical on bumpers that are made for both the TJ & YJ. They come close, but aren't perfect for both. The bolts aren't grade 8, so be careful with what you try to winch or pull with this unless you replace the bolts. Overall I would give this a 2.5 out of 5. It's a bumper, but just not that great of quality. Next spring I'll just use it as a template to cut & fabricate my own out of much thicker steel and welded. Just didn't have time to make one right now. Also, this isn't a bumper that would be 50 state legal. Many states require license plates on the front. This bumper has no pre-drilled holes so you will have to drill your own....which will end up leading to it rusting in those spots. Not a big deal if you have a good drill bit & drill, but still something to mention. Assembly over all is easy and quick, provided you enlarge the top front holes first. For a TJ you do not need to remove the sway bar bracket bolts or the cover as the instructions indicate. It is much easier to use a ratcheting wrench for the top bolts then a regular ratchet, but a regular ratchet will work (suggest 1/2") Bottom bolts can be done with any tool. Suggest getting all the bolts started before getting any tightened down. Wiring the lights can be done many ways. Some wire the side lights to the parking lines and the center lights to the fog light switch. If unsure just do a search as there are many how-to's on ways to accomplish the wiring. I wired mine up to the factory fog light switch and put a relay in to drive it. You don't really need a relay due to the low power draw, but it never hurts to have one. Make sure what you wire it to is fused though. Factory wiring up to at least 2000 do not use fuses or relays to drive any of the lights. Would be a good opportunity to wire your headlights to a relay if you haven't done it already. If the lights were closer to advertised this would make the bumper a better purchase, but in the end the lights are just not as advertised. If you are looking for a bumper to put on a Wrangler and flip it, this will serve it's purpose well. Long term, this isn't one that will hold up to any environment that gets snow & salt as is. But for a budget bumper it will do. There are cheaper bumpers and there are more expensive ones. You get what you pay for as always, just set your expectations accordingly. Mine was missing the D-Rings, hoping Oedro makes good and sends them out as they indicated they would. If you add up the costs to make your own it will be hard to do it cheaper, that is, if you go with lights that have the power output these state they do. Lights, shackles, D-rings alone are at least $100. Having someone local to you to powdercoat is going to easily be another $100. Even if you get scrap steel it will be another $50 in materials, welding materials, etc. ... show more

  • Great value for money if you take some time prior to installation.
Style: Rear w/Lights
Overall pretty decent rear bumper for the money. Only problem I had with it is that some of the finish came off during shipping, and the corners as well got a little beat up during shipping. One photo attached is from the day I installed it, and the other is from yesterday. I would recommend painting / bed lining it before installing it as the finish is very thin and the Florida sun and salty air is very unforgiving. Installing the bumper was pretty challenging by myself, but if you have someone or something to help hold it up while you bolt it in it’s pretty easy. Also, be extremely careful while lining the bumper up, the corners will scratch your paint. Wrap a microfiber towel or a t shirt around them prior to installation so you don’t have to buy a thing of touch up paint like I did haha. I got into an small parking lot accident with this bumper and only lost about 3 square inches of paint off of it, while the other guy needed to replace his door. I have yet to hook up the lights included though, and I would consider some better recovery rings as the ones included feel very cheap and would probably break under load. They will also clang around going over bumps. Wrapping some electrical tape or similar around the bottom helps alleviate this issue. I bought heavy duty ones since installation and little rubber shoes for them and I no longer hear them. ... show more
