An adjustable left rear foam block lets you set the space for storing The tks8's power source, while the ventilation pit under the controller is ideal for storing cables and other compact accessories.

This case is very sturdy and protects my Trakto Kontrol S8 very well. It is a well thought out product. It looks great at my gigs and is stable. The only cons is that it is somewhat heavy and the foam stabilizers had to be cut and reconfigured so as to fit when a Decksaver cover is placed on the S8. I wasn't sure how the S8 would fit without the Decksaver cover and not hit the control knobs while securing the S8 for travel. Overall though I really like and feel secure traveling and performing without worry of damage to my S8 ... show more

This case combines outstanding protection with compact, flexible access for performance. I love the ability to have my laptop extend back and above the case, while still sturdily supported, and easily connect cables to the front and back of the S8, while taking little more table space than the controller alone would. I had worried about how well the controller would be held in place for transportation because of the sliding tray, but upon inspecting the case in person, it is clear that there is plenty of firm padding in the right places to hold it regardless of the orientation of the case when closed. ... show more

    • Solid build but needs some tweaks.
The case feels sturdy out of the box. The foam padding is removable but the velcro is already comig off. There are no references as far as where to put the movable blocks nor any extras to hold any thin laptops like macbook air or MSsurface snug under the controller. There are no holes or tabs for a padlock. The top tray will slide off if you're not careful to check the metal tab thats supposed to stop it. Overall its just OK. ... show more

Solid construction as with most Odyssey cases. Only complaint is the S8 will move around inside without the additional foam blocks or velcro in place.
