These are as nice as everyone says. The sit proud of the bars (outwards) so your grips are well protected and if y the bike does drop, there is a lot of material there to cushion the blow and wear over many many drops or drags. I had to sand down the inner part that fits in the bars a bit, just to avoid pounding them in so they would come out easier if I ever need to dissassemble the bars/grips. Besides, they dont have to fit super tight because they have the expanding adjustment. Im assuming the fit was tight because there were some rough ribs inside my bar ends since they care carbon fiber. If you have aluminum or steel bars which are smooth on the inside they will fit fine. My bars are 1/2in inside 7/8 or so, 22mm outside diameter. These are a hard plastic, not rubber. ... show more
