It is not recommended for unfinished wood or oiled wood. The neutral pH formula is harmless to finishes and does not leave a sticky reside behind. We are big fans of regular Odo-ban for general purpose cleaning, and needed some floor cleaner. This works as well as other ready to use (if not better), and very, very, mild odor. My wife is sensitive to strong scents, and she could barely tell I just mopped our living room. We have luxury vinyl plank (LVP), and this works great in a spray mop. Cleans well, and doesn't leave film/residue/streaks. The best part? One gallon of this concentrate makes 128! gallons of solution, so a phenomenal value. That also means 127 less gallon plastic bottles needed. Just save an empty gallon jug from something else (rinse as needed), or calculate how much concentrate you need for a smaller container. I would definitely buy again, but it will take years to go through this one!

This is amazing for mopping Floors with no streaks or residue and NO smell whatsoever. At first I thought it must not be very good but after a size able disaster it worked like a charm. I have Hyperosmia (severe sensitivity to smells that causes nausea and 🤮) so I was thrilled It did a great job cleaning without the powerful smells of most cleaning products.

I recently had my tile professionally cleaned and my grout sealed. My entire house is ceramic tile, (no carpet, no wood), so I have a LOT of surface to mop. My tile guy said this is the only product I should ever use. It’s ph neutral, and I mean it when I say, it does NOT leave any residue! I was so tired of my feet sticking to the floor after using the stupid swiffer wet mop. It cleans everything off the floor, smells great, and one jug makes SO much cleaning solution, it’ll take a long time to get through one bottle. I can’t recommend this stuff highly enough!

This cleaner is a good value because you dilute it 1 ounce to every gallon of water for normal cleaning jobs. It does as good of a job, if not better than my normal cleaners like Pinesol, Fabuloso, etc. I used this on both tile and laminate flooring. I used it in my Hoover Floormate machine as well as with a spin mop. It has a light, almost minty lavender smell, which is very subtle and does not last. I think it did a good job on both the tile and laminate, but I do wish it cleaned the grout better. I diluted it as directed and there was only a slight bit of sudsing. I did not rinse it, and it really did dry fast and free of streaking. With several elderly dogs, accidents do happen now and again. I usually clean them up as soon as I see them with paper towels followed by Lysol wipes. This does a good job at getting rid of any lingering odors the next time I mop. I also have an elderly diabetic cat that often pees all over the sides of his litter box. I use this product to wash his litter box weekly (rinsing with warm water afterwards) and the plastic doesn't have any lingering odors. I do like this floor cleaner and I will buy it again. A gallon dilutes to 128 gallons of floor cleaner, so it really is an awesome value. I do wish it had a longer lasting scent and I do wish it whitened my grout, but it's better overall than any of the grocery store bought cleaners I have been using.

I bought this one instead of other neutral pH floor cleaners because it is NO RINSE. That was extremely important to me. Note that I'm not a professional so don't take any of this as advice - it's just what I chose to do, and what worked for me. I used it on an OSB (particle board) subfloor that had been beaten up pretty badly over the years (deep spills, pet urine, flooding from a washing machine, etc). I did NOT dilute it, even though this 1 gallon can be diluted to make 128 gallons. The subfloor was in unbelievably bad shape and full-strength was fine for it. If I was going to use it on regular floors, I'd have definitely diluted it. A professional recommended that I wash the OSB with vinegar but I can not stand the smell of vinegar, unfortunately, so I chose this cleaner instead. It smells great to me, and I have a sensitive nose. It also doesn't create bad fumes throughout the house and interfere with my asthma and other breathing problems. It was easy to use with no issues. After removing carpet and padding and sweeping/vacuuming the subfloor, I poured a little bit directly on the bare OSB and scrubbed it with a sponge and let it air dry once I felt like I'd done the best job I could do for it. It did fantastically and the difference in the look but most importantly the SMELL is incredible. It's not like it looks like brand new OSB, and it will need to be replaced at some point in the future, but it's back to a point that laying carpet over it won't be a mistake. I will be painting the subfloor with Kilz paint with built-in primer (that's a pro trick to seal it) before laying carpet. Fantastic product and I'm very glad I chose this over stinky vinegar.

This cleanser cleans great. It got up spots on my floors that were difficult to clean up with other floor cleaners without having to scrub. The scent is not too strong, and is pleasant. Just be careful with the amount you use. If you add too much it becomes very soapy, especially if you use a mop with one of the spin buckets. I had to dump out half the bucket and add more water. Once I found the proper balance it works great. The directions were correct, I just got a little over zealous when adding in the floor cleanser to the water.

I love to you is this floor cleaner in my yoga studio. It has a fresh smell yet not overpowering. You get a large bottle at a great price because you mix this product with water to dilute it to ensure that you have a streak free finish on your floors. Leaves the floors, clean, shiny and streak resistant. The only floor cleaner I use in my yoga studio, highly recommend!!

OK product and maybe worthwhile if the Bona version hurts your budget. Overall, though, way more work involved in actually getting your floors to look "finished", e.g. clean and not streaky
