Came well packaged and though the box was a little beat up, there was no damage to any pieces. Easy to assemble, took me about a half hour (56 yo female, not mechanically inclined). I was able to flip it myself as well, though I risked bending the leg pieces so you may want two people. I did it quick and on carpet so no damage there either. At 29.9” from floor to top of desk, it seems quite tall, plenty of leg room. The short side is really short. Not likely to be able to turn chair and use the short side as a workspace but it’s a fine side if you prefer to place the monitor in the corner or on the large side. My only complaint on quality is the cord-hole cover. The pin popped out of it releasing the spring. I put it back together but not sure that’s going to last. It’s fine though because I’ll leave it open for cords anyway. I did not use the raised shelf because I wanted more work space. I may add it later.

We got this as a computer desk for our kid’s bedroom. We wanted something that was a bit smaller and simpler, but still had a little room for him to work. There are a lot of options in this price range, and I found the build/materials quality to be on par with others that I’ve purchased in the past. Assembly was generally easy, and the instructions were easy to read and interpret, and no pieces were missing. The brackets that mount inside the ends of the rails are spot-welded inside. During assembly, one of them popped off. Though quality of workmanship might be a factor, I cannot be sure if my kid cranked down just a little too hard. It wasn’t a critical joint, though a little JB Weld and everything’s fine. The hole for cables at the back end of the wing is a nice touch, as are the cross supports that form an “X” across the backs of the 2 pieces. Still, the desk clearly isn’t something that I would put a lot of weight on. On our desk, we mounted a dual monitor arm attachment that holds 2, 24” monitors. Although it looked like it would hold, I used another board across the top to provide just a bit more stability. Also noteworthy is that the support braces run under the tops of both units and are set back about 1”. This means that if you mount anything below them (such as cable management trays or the mounting arms I mentioned), you need to make sure they can clear those brackets. All in, I am not displeased with the desk. Time will tell how durable it is (in the past, I have found that the finish tends to wear out rather quickly) under moderate use. Still, for the price it’s at least as good as most others (with the benefit of the wing/return). I would recommend it, but just caution the purchaser to make sure they understand what they’ll be using it for.

This desk looks decently nice and isn't nearly as difficult as some others I've had to assemble. It's not the most sturdy desk, but it's not completely flimsy, either. The desktop is just shy of 1/2" wood. I would like it to be a little thicker, but it gets the job done. I wouldn't use it for heavy equipment, but for a computer desk or writing desk, it's perfectly adequate. My initial thought is that it was priced a bit higher than I would've thought it should be, but with how expensive everything is getting, it's probably priced about right. The instructions, also, weren't the most terrible instructions I've seen. They weren't perfect, but they were easy enough to understand with a little focus. Overall, not a bad desk at a not bad price.

This desk is a definite improvement over my last desk as it is sturdier and has more connections for the base that keeps the frame rigid. It took two people to set it up but you very likely can do it all by yourself with some balancing extra elbow grease. For us, it only took about 20 minutes to set it all up. One of the best features in my opinion is how the back side of the desk do not have bars running across them which allows you to attach a monitor arm mount that can clamp onto the surface of the desk. There is also a grommet hole pre-drilled in the smaller table surface you could use as well if its placement works for your setup. For all of that, I would definitely recommend this desk for its quality and value.

... a hundred times better than those rickety, overpriced pressboard pieces of you-know-what. I can't tell you how many of those junky pressboard desks I have had, being on a budget at the time, and how each and every time I was highly disappointed, if not disgusted. If you're looking for a bit of bling, look for my other review on another desk that has that bling, but is otherwise similar to this one (it has a carbon fiber look and is way cool). Overall, a breeze to assemble and a nice looking, sold offering. For what it is, what it does, and what it costs: Five Stars I am the Totally Unbiased Reviewer Dude (T.U.R.D.) and that is how I see it.
