This ODIOMX Sound Bar is priced at about one third of what I spent on my home theatre center speaker. Does my THX sound quality home theatre system blow this sound bar away? Of course it does. But, the point is that I placed this ODIOMX Sound Bar in my bedroom paired with a 46 inch OLED TV that I primarily watch You Tube videos on. It over performs what I ask of it. Right now, as I write this, the Lady of the House is jamming to some of her favorite rock songs, happy as can be in her moment of audio rapture, on iTunes streaming to this sound bar. As should be expected, it has a fairly narrow sound stage. But, the dynamic range is quite good. Bass is full and tight with a smooth, clear mid range and a very crystal clear high end. IMHO… Use it for what it is designed for and you will be thrilled. Now, to be critical. The very bright display that can’t be dimmed or shut off is quite annoying. Ditto with the overly loud and uncontrollable audio prompts. I like to sleep with green noise playing all night long. The bright white light display overwhelms my night lights. Sometimes I have to decide between the Green Acres Eva Gabor blindfold and forgoing the green noise altogether. The display is that annoying in dim light… Like watching movies. When I first unboxed this product I was disappointed to find that this rather hefty sound bar had an external power supply. I have attached a photo of said power supply to this review. I will pose this question to the engineers who designed this sound bar… Really?? You couldn’t fit the power supply inside the product case so it could be a one piece product? Then there is the remote. It screams cheapness. You don’t have an indicator if it is powered on or if it sends a signal command. Better memorize the buttons because in normal TV viewing light, you’ll need a flash light, and in my case, reading glasses, to know what you are doing. Fortunately my TV remote will control the volume level of the sound bar without any programming. I originally set up my ODIOMX Sound Bar using the supplied optical cable. It seemed very, well, cheap. After the first usage I could not get it to connect. I performed trouble shooting for an hour. I finally removed the optical cable and installed the supplied HDMI cable using the ARC function… Problem solved… It now rocks. ... show more

This sound bar had been a great addition to our entertainment system. It offers great sound quality. And connecting it to my TV was super easy. It made the sound so crystal clear that I was amazed. It offers movies theater quality for a fraction of the price of other sound bars. I'm definitely glad I got it when I could. And it worked great in both a smaller bedroom and a larger living room.     • Very easy to set-up, very intuitive to use and sounds incredible
Whenever I get some kind of electronic I'm always concerned 'is this going to be a pain to set up?' Well honestly this couldn't have been easier. One caution. The sub woofer speaker on the bottom has no grill or anything covering it. So just be careful taking it out of the box and carrying it. I have a pair of name brand blue tooth speakers that I thought sounded pretty good. Until I turned this on. I switched back and forth between the two and was amazed at just how much richer and fuller the sound from this sound bar was. Really clear and clean and good definition between lows, mids and highs. When I really cranked the volume up the definition between the highs, mids and low's got a little muddier. Still listenable but not quite as clear. That happened when I pushed this over 60% which is really getting loud. The different EQ modes make a really big differences so I'd try them all. My tv room is 30' by 15' and this bar just fills the room on about 60% volume. This came with pretty much everything you'd need to get set up (no RCA cables). The remote is tiny so I'm going to put a tracker on that. Otherwise I couldn't be happier. This unit far exceeds anything I was expecting. And out of the box, literally took five minutes to hook up. Just a super deal on a great product. Very, very satisfied! ... show more

    • Didn’t work for me
It’s nicely packaged, the soundbar itself is somewhat heavy and well built but I thought it was somewhat too tall so if I put it in front of my TV it takes about 1/2 inch from the screen but that’s just my setup, I’m sure others can find a different placement, it should be a pretty easy setup with the HDMI/ARC input but I was not able to get it to work and also annoying, the only sound that would come out was the alerts when you turn it ON/OFF and different Modes and pretty loud but no sound would come out when watching a Movie or TV, tried the optical cable and I would get sound but it would be from both TV and soundbar at the same time, tried Bluetooth that was an easy connection but the sound came out very soft why? You have to turn up the volume on the TV or Soundbar high to get the maximum sound but remember the higher the volume the louder the prompts to the settings, anyway it didn’t work for me and I really wish it had. ... show more

This has a really nice form factor that can actually fit on your computer desk or just below your TV in your living room. You can really dial that woofer up and it sounds amazing and definitely gives you a lot more base than those smaller profile sound bars. It’s all in one unit and you don’t have to worry about positioning a subwoofer somewhere else in the room. Works with Bluetooth And has just about everything you need to get going. This should fit our room perfectly and we are enjoying it. I’m giving this a solid five out of five. ... show more

    • Decent Sound Bar
I have had better sound bars, but then, they cost more, too. This one does OK, and that is especially true if you compare it to speakers built into TV's. The sound can get considerably louder than those in a TV without getting too distorted, and dialog is much better. That's why I got this, by the way. It seems like dialog gets worse by the year, and articles I’ve read suggest it isn't just me saying that. This sound bar is easy to set up and get functioning. Not too many confusing settings. If you are looking for a reasonably priced sound bar, and your expectations are appropriate for a one-piece sound bar with no actual real speaker option, then you will likely be happy with this choice.
