This was the first life vest my 2 year old grand daughter ever wore. It worked well for her first swim in the lake. She is usually a little fussy about wearing certain things and she did not fuss or complain about wearing her comfy and adorable life vest . It dries quickly too.

This life jacket works very well, so no issues with floatability (is that a word?). However, the back of the jacket rides up my son’s back and looks awkward more than anything… again, it doesn’t seem to affect his ability to float and move around in the water, but I don’t imagine it’s the most comfortable. We used this for our son to go magnet fishing. I feel like it'll prevent him from going under if he falls in. It definitely makes me feel less nervous with him being so close to deep water.
