we have a complicated layout so this took probably about 12 hours from start to finish and like others have said you have to take your time. Despite doing so, you can still see the imperfections in our patterns and cutting, but aesthetically the boat looks great so we don’t mind too much. This is the camel brown color, which seems lighter than the other options and I really like the color as well as the grip the foam provides compared to the typical boat deck.

The 2 biggest issues I had were (1) the roll was stiff and would not lay flat, even after being weighted down flat for a week and (2) cutting a circular radius less than a couple inches got difficult. After said, if your surface is clean and relatively flat, and your cuts are basically straight-line, it's an easy install and looks very good for the money. As others have stated, take your time to get it right. My application was on a fiberglass, slightly textured boat deck.

Thus product, for me, did not adhere as originally hoped. I redid my kids whaler and sanded and gelcoated the floor. Once dried, the product was left in the sun, deck wiped with acetone, flooring laid and rolled out and it still did not adhere, rolled up in the edges and shrunk leaving gaps. I reappled it with contact cement but it will have to come out and deck redone in the winter. Contact was made with customer service and they seemed genuinely concerned about the adhesion issues. We went over the process I went through to install the flooring and I was told they will look into what may have happened. I hate that the flooring did not work out well for me but have no complaints with customer service as it appears they want to have a great product for all boats.
