I have not yet used this sleeping bag, however, it was half the size of my other bag and weighs only like 3 lbs. I'm hoping this bag will keep me warm. I do have a sheet I take and a camping blanket so fingers crossed!!!

This sleeping bag is perfectly fine for the casual camper, especially in a rustic cabin environment. Seams are well constructed throughout the bag but, like most nylon bags, be careful of the zipper. It could easily snag if a person is not attentive.

I have plenty of road trips for work where I couch surf instead of paying for a hotel. I also have a tendency to pack an inflatable pad and sleep on the floor rather than taking a bed if I’m staying in a hotel with colleagues. (I’m unabashedly cheap; what can I say?) I picked this bag up because it was much smaller and lighter than the mummy bag I’ve used for camping for years, plus I needed something lighter for when I’m camping in the summer (in Texas). This bag definitely gives me the foot room that a mummy bag doesn’t, and it’s super easy to vent your feet as much or as little as they need. …but I also wanted to be able to roll over easier, and this bag (kinda) doesn’t do that. I’m not a huge guy, but I’m not small, either. At 6’2” 205 lbs I have plenty of height in the bag, but it gets a bit tight around my torso. If my arms are down at my side the bag is almost pulled tight around me; I can’t have my arms crossed across my chest. …but I’m not sure how much of a problem that actually is, in practice. Remember, the bag is more than long enough for me. I can be inside *and* tuck a pillow in the top and my feet still have room. So what I find is that more often I unzip the whole bag, use it as a blanket, and tuck the edges underneath me. Most blankets are pulled tight on me if I tuck them both over the top of my shoulders and under my feet. This thing just fits. You can still regulate your temp well and it tucks underneath enough that you still have almost 360 degree coverage. …but at the end of the day I now only have a really useful blanket, not a sleeping bag. This may be a problem next summer when I want it for camping over my mummy bag again. We’ll see. ... show more

Excellent quality for the price! Easy to pack, carry, unpack, fluff and use. I bought an entire camping setup off Amazon recently. I have not been disappointed with any of my purchases. I keep my sleeping bag, along with the rest of my gear, in bins, in the back of my Honda element. I think it's pretty cool that I can camp on the go anytime. ... show more
