These sunglasses are next-level. I wanted something bold and a little different from the usual “everyone has them” styles, and the Oakley Sutros absolutely deliver. The white frame paired with the multi-colored Prizm lens stands out in the best way—it’s one of those designs that gets noticed immediately. I’ve had people ask about them nearly every time I wear them out. Aside from the style (which is very cool), they’re incredibly functional. Lightweight but sturdy, and they stay put whether I’m biking, running, or just walking around. The lens clarity is sharp and actually makes everything pop a little more visually—perfect for sports but also just great for everyday wear. You can feel the quality when you put them on. I’ve worn a lot of sunglasses over the years, and these are easily my favorite for that mix of high performance and design-forward style. If you’re looking to break away from the typical Ray-Ban look and want something with personality and athletic edge, these are it.

I’ve been a fan of Oakley for years and have owned several pairs over the decades. Their lens quality is honestly second to none, and the Sutros are no exception. The frames are solid (literally) too, even though they’re plastic, they don’t feel cheap at all. You can tell the difference right away compared to budget sunglasses. Now, the style is definitely not for everyone. It’s a bold look and won’t suit every face shape, but if this style works for you, these are a great choice, especially for sports like cycling. Everything about the kit is nice: the glasses themselves, the case, even the little cleaning kit. My only complaint? The packaging. Mine showed up in a flimsy plastic envelope, and the box looked like it had been through a rough day. Not a huge deal since the glasses were fine, but when you’re paying a premium price, the presentation should reflect that. If I’d been giving these as a gift, I would’ve been a little embarrassed by the condition of the box. Other than that, I’m really happy with them.

So, upfront, these are non polarized, so if you're specifically looking for polarized lenses, sorry to be the bearer of bad news there, but, personally I love these sunglasses. They're by far my new favorite everyday pair. They look stylish, add a little pop to any outfit, they're extremely comfortable, and the wrap style gives full coverage of your field of view. Both the case and the cleaning kit are excellent as well. Since I've only had them a week or two at this point, I tested the cleaning kit on an older pair of sunglasses as well as my readers, and it worked great (I have extremely long lashes, the downside of which is I smudge lenses fast!)

Okay, so I’ve gotta say—these Oakley sunglasses are INSANE for baseball. I got them a few days ago and seriously, I don’t know how I played without them before. I’m out in the sun all the time, and these things block the glare like magic. No more squinting in the outfield or losing the ball in the sun. They also look super cool. The lenses make everything sharper and brighter. The ball pops more, and I can track it way better, especially during sunny games or evening practices. Plus, they stay on no matter what. I slide, sprint, dive—whatever—and they don’t fall off or bounce around. They fit my face really well, and they’re super comfy. I almost forget I’m wearing them. Honestly, if you play baseball, you NEED a pair of Oakleys. I play better, I see better, and I feel like a total beast wearing them. 10/10. Now I just need a second pair in a different color 😎

Really awesome style of oakleys. I have a pretty wide face and most glasses squeeze my head or just done fit my face at all. These are perfect they are big but not too big. They also fit really well while wearing a hat. Super well made. 10/10

After several long rides and sunny trail runs, the Oakley Sutro OO9406 sunglasses proved their worth. The Prizm Road lenses enhance contrast and color remarkably well, especially on pavement and changing terrain, making it easier to spot obstacles or shifts in surface. The wraparound design offers excellent coverage and wind protection without feeling heavy or restrictive. The matte white frame adds a sharp, modern look that complements performance gear without sacrificing comfort. One downside is the lack of polarization, which might be a drawback for those near water or extremely reflective surfaces, but for cycling and road use, the clarity and contrast are top-tier. The included eyewear kit is a practical bonus, with a sturdy case and cleaning tools that help keep everything in top shape. These are purpose-built sunglasses that deliver on performance, fit, and visual precision.

The Oakley Sutro sunglasses are white, and the lenses are huge. You can expect this to cover pretty much your entire field of view. The frames are white, and they will look great on the snow slope. The lenses are not polarized, so keep that in mind. They come in a cloth bag, which doesn't offer a lot of protection. I was surprised they didn't come in a hard case of any kind. There is also a nice little extra bag with a polishing cloth and lens cleaner.
