My husband loves Oakley and when his last pair broke I was so happy to have found these with fast shipping. However after a month they have broke in the same area as the old ones. (Where it bends to close them) For oakleys rep and price you would think they would be more sterdy.

    • My favorite prescription oakley frames
I have several recent Oakley prescription frames and lenses including this one-- Pitchman, Mainlink, and Currency-- ( I have older, but I won't go there) and these are the best fitting, best balanced, light weight , tight enough but not too tight frames out of those, for me. As well, the shape and size of the lenses lend themselves to computer work, whereas Currency, maybe the most high-end looking, are a bit tight (and metal, I may add), Pitchman is a bit wide for the width purchased (they slide down a lot- unadjustable nose pieces) and Mainlink fit a bit tight to the face for those with longer eyelashes. I really love these and would consider these or others in similar styles. If you're lucky they may arrive with all of the replaceable side logos so you can even change out the colors on demand... ... show more

this is my second pair. both broke at the arm joint. MADE IN CHINA, NOT MADE IN SWITZERLAND as stated.
