I didn’t want to have many different shades that I could wear at the beach, wear coaching sports, wear out driving. The Oakley Holbrook are the most versatile sunglasses I have. The frame doesn’t have the same pressure on the back of your ears like you’d have with the Flak jackets or Half jackets. I would also consider the Holbrook XLs if you have a slightly bigger head, a head with more depth, or want more coverage over your eyes. The pricing on Amazon was the best around. It’s cheaper to get them on here from any other store or via Oakley themselves. The significant savings is worth it. The Try Before You Buy is great for sunglasses. Consider getting these under that program to try them out. ... show more

Got a great deal on these - only $75 - and they're great. I think the price was good b/c they were the only non-polarized option, but I honestly can't tell the difference these lenses and my $250 Maui Jims as far as glare, contrast, etc. I got the prizm lenses, which I don't know a lot about but maybe that's why. But light, sporty, and look great. I ordered the XL's by mistake, but they're not so huge that they're a problem. ... show more

Everything looks extremely crisp and colors are very vibrant. Excellent protection from the south Texas sun. Lightweight yet they feel quite durable. I knew what I was getting before I bought them, and I knew I was paying $150 for something that probably cost 10% of that to manufacture.
