I bought these as exclusively mountain bike riding sunglasses (as I was informed by my family that they're too dorky to wear outside in public otherwise). That said, they provide that "I forgot I was wearing sunglasses" feel from a comfort and non-interference perspective. I use them with a Bell Super 3R which doesn't always fit most glasses well, but these tuck in nicely and frame the opening well (i.e. good coverage without hitting the helmet). They are "assembled in USA" which is an interesting twist - happy for any on-shore effort on the part of companies. I dunno if I'd pay retail for the glasses (these were on-sale) but I'm happy with them. ... show more

You forget these glasses are on when on a long ride or run. The lenses are so large and are perfect for biking. You never see an edge or have vision obstructed by a rim. I'd recommend ordering one of the "road" lenses if planning to use for biking, since it is recommended to avoid polarized and to go with a rose based tint. I'm so glad I invested in some real sunglasses and these at 1/2 off are an amazing value IMO. I personally don't like wearing flashy sunglasses, but it is worth it for the performance benefits. ... show more

    • Super Clear Vision & Large View
Super Clear Vision: The lens color is not appealing stylistically, but is not noticeable looking through it, other than the added contrast. Depth perception is better when riding into a canopy with mixed sunlight and shadows. The shadow detail is easier to make out in that fraction of a second before you hit that section. Light Transmission: They are surprisingly comfortable on the eyes, despite the very light tint (and no polarization). The extra light transmission is greatly appreciated when suddenly entering a dim area, as well as at twilight. Fogging: I've experienced no fogging, even when stopping on a hot, steamy day. Wide View: They're both wide and tall. While the height of the lens is nice for a larger field of view, it comes very close to the helmet, so that landing after a jump or drop-off that jars the helmet forward by a cm, then knocks the glasses in an uncomfortable way, sometimes even moving them down the nose and requiring adjustment in that hairy section. Will report back if this becomes problematic enough that it precludes their use. Overall: Highly recommended. Everything has been spot-on, except the color. But the color and light tint is what provides the high contrast. ... show more
