I tried the Oakley sunglasses on my walks in the setting sun and during the noon time. They were excellent during the noon time, but when walking facing the setting sun they were only good. On my bike rides they did some clarity to vision. The main reasons I did not give them 5 stars overall was the very high price, and that they are only assembled in the USA. My $80 sunglasses were almost as good in performance. They are assembled in the USA, with parts from the unknown. I suspect China. Oakly only state that they are assembled in the USA

Great quality glasses( I got the Ascend Collection). Amazing fit, love the lenses. The only gripe I’d remotely have( and it’s pretty small) is that the lenses are decently see through in some lighting, but once out in sunlight they are nicely mirrored. The lenses have a nice tint to them as well. Overall very happy with my purchase and the quality I’ve come to expect with my past pairs.

Although the Radar isn’t a new Oakley design, they still looks sharp and work very well for cyclists. (Sorry, don’t like the trend in cycling towards the oversized, “ski goggle” sunglasses that prevail today.) The Radar glasses are comfortable, fit well, and don’t slide down your nose, without feeling too tight. Vented lenses work well in getting just enough air to your eyes. The best feature is the clarity and contrast that Oakley lenses offer!

The glasses were sent to me in an envelope, the sunglass box was crushed inside and the template of the glasses were bent. The Oakley case was crushed causing the template to bend. Why would they send expensive Oakley's in an envelope and not in a box. Very disappointing. I am overseas on a U.S Military base and I cannot get these shipped back in time for a refund due to the time it takes to return packages.
