Bought this to replace replace another pump that took more than 15 minutes to inflate. The dual stage pump is nice, and it really quiet, when is shifts gears a we call it, look out, sounds like its going to take off into the sunset. My only complaint would be the 300l,/ minute... I bought this pump after another more expensive pump I purchased from Amazon failed to inflate my SUP past 0 psi. This pump arrived on my doorstep shortly before I was going to return the other pump to UPS. I thought, “Well, I better try this Wave pump before I leave in case it sucks as much as last pump.” I fire up my car, plug in the Wave pump, set the pressure to 18 psi, and hit the start button. Fifteen minutes later, I have a fully inflated rock hard SUP ready to go! The Wave pump was cool to the touch, so I had zero reservations about inflating another SUP without waiting. Yes, my experience was longer than the advertised 6.5 minutes, but who knows under what conditions that result was achieved. I could definitely tell when the second stage of inflation kicked in because of the increase in volume from the pump. I love the large display, and the unit has an overall feel of quality. The Wave pump was less than half of what I paid for the pump I returned to Amazon. Granted the other pump was AC/DC with a battery, but who cares because that pump was defunct anyways. Overall, I am ecstatic about this purchase! Five stars. Would buy again. ... show more

First off I have used many different paddle board pumps. I stuck with this one because it has a rechargeable internal battery inside and a active cooling fan system. Most of the pumps on Amazon do not have any cooling system, and don’t even have vent ports on there pumps. Even though they lie and write some generic writing about it keeping cool. I will say it’s also not as loud as other pumps and doesn’t give off this super high pitch sound from the hose the will drive you nuts and Pierce your ear drums. Now the reason for not 5 stars is you do not get any kind of case or bag to store your pump/hose and o rings. For the price of 250 this should have been standard. Also having a usb charge port on the pump to use as a external battery would have been a plus like other pumps do. I believe this is the most expensive pump on the market, but I wanted a 20psi pump with a cooling fan and battery. Oak & iron if your listening I would really like a storage bag or case for this expensive investment. ... show more

totally worth the money! I bought the pro for the portability option. I have inflated my 2 person kayak, floating dock twice and my paddle board all on about 75% charge. That's including deflating everything as well. A hand pump is definitly faster, but who wants to actually sit there and pump 20 psi when they could be getting other gear ready?! It comes with a good amount of attachments for all different types of valves. Placement is a little in the way, but I don't dare remove them, for fear of loosing the entire bunch! Having a storage bay (with magnetic lid) for the 12v cord is also a major added bonus. I have inflatable kayaks and always used the hand pumps. This pump is so awesome! It took less than one minute to fill all 3 chambers, which is 1/5 the time of the hand pump and no physical exertion!! This is an awesome machine folks!

This pump is not worth the money don't let the looks fool you I could not get 1 board pumped up and had to use my brother inlaws pump to inflat the board "his was only 60.00" had to get a refund, I will buy a cheaper brand that is more reliable, I would leave 0 stars if it would let me

I do not recommend the Wave DC model. I found it difficult to connect to my SUP and the Wave shutoff after filling the first SUP and wouldn't turn back on. The hose is short and made of hard plastic so it doesn't bend much. Even just another 2 feet of hose would make it a bit easier to use. It keep unscrewing itself when I connected it to my SUP. It took several minutes of repositioning to get the hose into the right spot due to its rigid nature before it would stop turning on its own and disconnecting from the SUP valve. The Wave shutoff while filling the first SUP (was only filling to 13.5 psi). I'm not sure if it had completely reached the preset pressure because I wasn't looking at the display when it shutdown, but it was at least close. I could not get it to turn back on. I even let it sit and unplugged it and plugged it back in. Update: The Wave blew the fuse in my car's cigarette lighter outlet (20-amp fuse); this is the reason for the Wave looking like it's not working. This could totally be a car issue and not a Wave issue; let's see if this happens again. ... show more
