I didn't really measure and I just took a chance on this because I was lazy. My duvet insert ended up being a little larger than the duvet cover but I was able to fit it in and it's not lumpy at all. I washed the cover, put it inside out, attached my duvet insert to the corners and then pulled in through right side out. It was much easier than ones I've done in the past. I wish the duvet cover were a little wider as it does not cover the depth of the mattress on one side but it's not a big deal to me for the price. (Nobody sees that side of the bed anyway.) I love that it's reversible and when I fold over the top portion it has a nice contrasting stripe pattern.I did not iron it after washing and it has a nice lived-in look but not overly wrinkled. I did iron the pillow shams so the edging was more crisp. The zipper closure works great. This is the first time I have a cover with a zipper and I wasn't sure if I'd like it but it's worked out fine. I would definitely recommend buying this if you like the pattern. *Note: there are birds hidden in the pattern. I did NOT see that before ordering and I'm afraid of birds (my biggest phobia) but I like the look so much I'm keeping it and facing my fears. ;) ... show more

This is a great duvet cover that's made from all cotton and get soft. It looks great. Just be mindful that you need the right dimensions for your blanket that will be inside of the duvet. I had a California king blanket size unknowingly and it doesn't quite fit. No big deal, and not the fault of the company at all, just wanted to share so your aware when buying. The fabric is really good. I love the design and the colours of the cover. I think the duvet cover set should include a one sheet as well so that you can use the set immediately. The only think I did not like is that it is not wrinkle free. Either you have to iron it to have a perfect bed or you should be fine with some wrinkles. Love this set! Cool and comfy but warm and cozy as well. Paired mine with dark gray Egyptian cotton sheets and I never want to leave my bed! Fit my king sized duvet perfectly. Loops in each corner hold the duvet securely in place, I add safety pins on the sides for extra security as the BF steals the covers and then wads them all up throwing them all off in a pile on top of me. ... show more

I bought 1 queen and 1twin set. I liked its quality and price. Also I love these flower pattern and it is reversible. I didn't measure but it fit perfectly to our comforters. I would recommend this!

I like this Duvet cover...It is not as soft as others I have purchased in this price range but it is well made and looks great on my bed...It also has great zippers...Fit and finish are excellent...again my only issue is that it could be a little softer...I will try to use extra fabric softener and see how that helps...Overall a good product! ... show more

Very nice duvet cover! It also came with two shams but are not in my photo. The colors on the pattern are quite nice. I like that it is cotton fabric. I washed it right after opening the package and it washed nicely.
