We noticed our SNOO had started making creaking noises during use. After taking it apart, I found a pile of rubber dust scattered around the motor and saw that a few of the larger O-rings had snapped. Thankfully, the motor still turned freely by hand (just like the product description said to check). I only needed my own screwdriver—the included tools made the rest of the job much easier and helped avoid damaging anything during “operation SNOO.” I also took the opportunity to clean the inside, which had gotten pretty gross after two LOs. Once everything was cleaned and reassembled, the noise was gone and the SNOO worked just like it used to. Disappointed this seems to be such a common problem for such an expensive bassinet, but grateful the fix was straightforward, even for someone without much DIY experience. ... show more

First it started jerking around like it had a short circuit… then it just stopped rocking altogether. This o-ring kit saved us. It showed up the next day, and everything fit perfectly. The 7 big o-rings go on the big rocking bearings and the 3 small ones on the motor—it was an exact match. I followed some YouTube videos and had it fully repaired in about two hours. Not hard, just takes a bit of patience. Pro tip: if I had to do it again, I’d get the version that comes with the toolkit. I made it work, but having the right tools up front would've saved me some time (and probably a few curse words under my breath). Now the Snoo runs like new. I was initially hesitant to buy this O-ring kit for my SNOO bassinet after seeing the one-star review, but I’m really glad I decided to try it out. It fits perfectly! It looks like the reviewer used the larger O-rings on the motor, instead of the small ones. After watching a video on YouTube, I matched up the correct sizes and everything fit great. My SNOO is back in perfect working order. What also made a big difference was how quickly the kit arrived through Amazon. It allowed me to get my SNOO back to work, so my baby could sleep well again, which, of course, meant I could get some much-needed rest too. So, don’t be discouraged by that one review. This kit fits the SNOO perfectly, and I’ve had no issues. Definitely a good purchase if you have broken/frayed O-Rings like I did! ... show more
