This really does run a bit small. A 7 year old boy, 57lbs, couldn’t zip it up, had to use the buckles only (luckily they are adjustable). Otherwise a very well made, comfy vest. So much better than traditional nylon.

It seems to run small. I know it goes up to I believe 70 lbs but 7 always complains how tight it is on him and he is thin and only weights 55 lbs . It fits but definitely not when he weights that much

Bought this for my son, he is thin athletic build. 56" tall at 65 lbs. Its is very snug on him. Wont work much longer for him. I have zip it for him cause of how tight it is. Quality is great and looks sharpe though.

It was comfortable for my 48" 55lbs 6 year old but it was a challenge to zip it up. Once in it he said it was snug but he could breath and move. He loves it but I don't think we will get 2 years out of it.

This is a high quality product. Well worth the money. My step-son is 8 and loves it. He is a little small for his age so it is a bit big, yet the smaller size is too small. Best part, he can wear the vest well into his teens.

Bought for an 11 yr old girl (who's petite at 64 lbs) and 10 yr old boy (who's fit at 65lbs) and it was so small that neither could zip it, so we couldn't use it and had to return. Bought the adult large and medium equivalents for various folks to use and they seem to be sized appropriately and work great so the product is good but the sizing of the youth model isn't close to being accurate. ... show more
