I bought this suit in a size 8 for my very tall and slender 8 year old. The size 8 fits perfect, but won't last long for length. I expected this since he is close to a 10 in jeans. He's so thin though that I knew the next size up would be too loose, so it is very true to size. Before this suit, he would cry and shiver during swim practice and not participate. As soon as he started using this, he was able to stay in the water over an hour without complaint. True to size. There is a seam at the neck collar that can give a rubbing rash if warn for extended periods of time. This needs to be fixed in the design, otherwise we love these wetsuits!

Kids may not tell you that they want one of these. But they will love it. They will no longer have blue lips after a 15 minutes in the frigid waters of Massachusetts.
