It's an O'Neill so I expect quality. Have used it a few times with out problems. It's a snug fit, but wet suits are supposed to be snug. The initial problem with wet suits is the proper fit, if you buy online and it doesn't fit then it has to go back which is always a hassle. I'm 5'10 and 180 lbs and work out daily in the gym, people consider me "fit" notice that I'm wearing an xxl which is snug on me. Some people buy several sizes and send back the ones that don't fit, not suggesting you do this just an observation.

5' 9'' 165 lbs. I bought both the medium and large because I wasn't sure which would fit better. I use it for cold days in a heated outdoor pool. The medium is fairly snug but keeps the water out. I have to really suck in my stomach to zip it up. Once in the water if feels less tight and is more comfortable. The Large fits more comfortably on dry land but I have to wear a rash guard underneath, so the water doesn't seep in so quickly. With a rash guard it works great. I find I am using the large more often now and my wife is borrowing my medium jacket and she loves it. We both highly recommend these jackets for recreational swimming. They work great to keep you warm when you get in and out of the pool.

This is my first zip up wetsuit top. It works as expected but i found it a little snug and a little short compared to my Volcom and Bodyglove wetsuit tops that are the same size. If I had more time I would have returned it but needed it for a photo shoot.

Works really well in Southern California when you don't need a full wet-suit. Had 2 other people borrow it in Santa Monica and both bought one the same day. This really soaks up the sun so even if the water gets in you are still warm. And it is so easy to get on and off unlike a full body suit. The hard part is finding them available in the summer.

It was labeled as a large but it was medium size. And the cut was way too short. Un-usable. Returned. I liked the Xcel front zip smooth skin but can't find any availabile so I ordered a Sharkskin titanium. We'll see if that is worth the extra cost. 🤙

Normally I’d take an XL in just about everything, occasionally XXL in the very slimmest fitting brands/cuts. Per the sizing chart, I ordered an XXL as an open box item. Sizing was not really even close, seems like I would have needed at least a 3x, which was not an option. Also, the zipper was extremely difficult to set to bottom before even trying this on, not sure if that’s the manufacturer’s quality or a reason why this was open box, which would be an Amazon QC miss. I have an O’Neil Reactor neoprene sport flotation vest and the sizing was correct, and otherwise I believe this jacket would have been good if it fit and worked properly.
