The quality and vibrant colors (blue and neon yellow) were great quality. Unfortunately both of my children felt like they were being strangled by the life vests. My four year old son is 42" tall and weighs 38.6 lbs and the neckbof the jacket pressed in to his throat. My six year old is very slim measuring at 45" tall and weighing 44 lbs and he experienced the same problem. It seems the design has been made to help keep the jacket from riding up around the head but unfortunately the foam presses into the throat. ... show more

I bought this for my 3 year old son to wear at the pool and on the boat. It has held up very well to a summer full of use. It’s light weight and fits in suitcase without much fuss. It allows the child to swim on their own while providing the necessary buoyancy to keep their head above water.

Very cute and light weight life jacket BUT it did not fit my 30lb 35" tall 21month boy. He has skinny arms but a bigger belly (93 percentile for height and 90 percentile for weight). As you can see from the picture, he was not comfortable. We put it on the largest buckle setting and it was TIGHT. If you have an average or smaller kid, it might work perfect. My gf got it for her daughter and it looked correctly sized and proportional to her frame. My review is to help guardians/parents who have similar sized (bigger) kids. Hope this helps! ... show more

We've used these consistently for 2 years and they're great. My daughter is just now 50lbs so this is her last year with it but it still fits fine. She's also 99th percentile for height so I'm not sure why there are reviews about them running small. Seem true to size to me. Also fits my 3 year old just fine. My toddler loves his new vest! Great for the pool and river. The fit is a little snug. The 2nd and 3rd buckle had no more room to adjust, but he will still probaly get 2 summers out of it. He is around 35lbs.

We bought this for our 3.5 year old son (34lbs, 38") to wear boating. The fit was perfect, it didn't come up off his shoulders and he was comfortable in it. When he stretched too far up on his tippy toes and fell in the water, he was back up before he knew what happened. Definitely recommend!
