I read the peekaboo neutral is a dupe for CTā€™s pillow talk which is my favorite lip pencil. So I had to compared them. In the photo, left is NYX peekaboo neutral and right is pillow talk. They are not the same color. Pillow talk is more pink and brighter. Peekaboo neutral is dusty rose color. It is still a nice neutral color and lasts long. This pencil is creamy, smooth, and super pigmented, it glides on easily without pulling and gives great color payoff. I also love that itā€™s not sticky or waxy, and it has a nice medium thickness, not too thin and not overly chunky, so you can really control your lines. It doesnā€™t have any strong scent, which I appreciate, no weird chemical or perfumey smell. It also wears well throughout the day. I didnā€™t notice much smudging unless I was eating something oily, so Iā€™d say itā€™s fairly smudge-resistant for a traditional pencil liner. The ā€œNaturalā€ shade, though, wasnā€™t what I expected based on the name and photo. It showed up a bit warmer and darker than I had in mind. Still a pretty shade, just not the subtle nude I thought I was getting. The pencil is standard size, easy to sharpen, and the quality feels solid overall, especially for the price.
