So I got a nyx matte lipstick in bright red years ago and hated it, I thought it was the grossest, driest formula ever. I don't know if they just improved their formula in the past 4 years but this lipstick isn't like that! It is mildly dry, as I would expect from a matte lipstick, and if you apply multiple layers over the course of a few hours (without it coming off naturally) then it will pill a little bit which is odd... but that's avoided by not overapplying lol. I got Dark Era and it's a lovely shade, the lipstick doesn't move around, and it looks awesome with a black lip liner. I think it's the perfect everyday goth shade I've been lookin for ... show more

when i received the lipstick it had like the tiniest little defect like if an ant bit on it lol like the most minuscule bite ever which i brushed off and just sliced it off but then as i swatched it on my hand it smelled like straight chemicals i don’t know if i even wanna put this on my lips ): which sucks bc it’s such a pretty color but it smells like roach repellent meanwhile the other lipstick i ordered from the same brand and same collection has no smell so i don’t even know what to do with this :/ ... show more
