I layer my setting powder on top which helps keep oil from building up throughout my shift. I love this product. I use once after my cream step and once after powder. It makes me makeup last all day with minimal touching up needed. My only note is that is marketed as matte while having a little bit of shine. I actually enjoy this but it means I add a little powder under my eyes so my concealer isn’t highlighted. This is my first time purchasing the big product after finishing my sample size and I’ll definitely order it again once I run out. Stunning setting spray that actually achieves a dewy set. I’ve tried quite a few more expensive dewy setting sprays before this one and found this actually locks in my makeup for hours. Going in with a very very slightly damp sponge to make sure everything is smoothed out and crease free before applying gets the best results! I have normal skin thats prone to breakouts and after using for 2 weeks now my skin has yet to react negatively. I didnt notice any funky smell or anything like that either. These setting sprays are the only ones I have used for years! They are so good and make your makeup stay on all day. It is so easy to spray and does not ruin your makeup when you spray it. I use to use the matte one so much but now I like the dewy look more. I absolutely love these setting sprays!

Well packaged and arrived in great condition, not leaky or anything like that. Setting sprays are hit or miss. I’ve used Catrice, Milani, Maybelline and Physician’s Formula. Out of those, the Physician’s Formula actually did what you’d want a setting spray to do: set your make up look. But, they discontinued the one I used and replaced it with some ‘diamond dust’ stuff that just made me look like I was headed to a cosplay in Pomona. So, I ordered this to give it a try. I’ve had great success with many NYX products. This isn’t one of them. This is a fine spray (that’s good!) but the ‘dewy’ finish never really sets down. I have to be very cognizant of touching my face while using this because it’s actually a bit greasy. I don’t look ‘dewy’ I look oily, and that’s just not at all what I’m going for in a setting spray. I like a dewy finish as I am a bit on the ‘older’ side and matte finishes just emphasize the fine lines under my eyes. But this isn’t dewy. It’s 15-year old pubescent, on the verge of a breakout, shiny! Not a good look, and it doesn’t set my makeup at all. If I wipe my nose, the makeup on my nose is coming off with this stuff. So, try something else. My next experiment involves a South Korean setting spray with a ‘dewy’ finish. We’ll see how that one works. The search continues… ... show more

I bought this after reading the reviews, and it is doing really well in holding my makeup throughout my work day. I tend to rest on my hands and touch my face and it rarely transfers. I spray it on after moisturizer dries, and then again after applying foundation.
