If you’re looking for a setting spray that actually works, the NYX one is seriously worth it. No matter what else I try, I keep coming back to the two types of NYX setting sprays and its the one I use for my every day make-up. I’ve tried a bunch of high-end brands, and this gives me the same great results—for like a quarter of the price. My makeup stays put all day, even when I’m sweating, and barely smudges. One thing I love is the versatility, one gets everything to dry matt and the other a little (but not overly dewy). The two bottles lasts a while as well, especially if you grab it on sale. I bought these to try out for my wedding. I didn't want anything too matte but i have very oily skin and didn't want to deal with shine in my photos. I got married outside in humid South Carolina so i needed something that would hold up. I tried out dewy first and I liked it, but I liked it more for a casual day to day summer look. It didn't make me oily but it did exactly what it said it would, gave me a dewy, casual look. Too casual for a wedding. The matte ended up bring my favorite and I still use it to this day. I would say that matte is probably the wrong name for this. It finishes and sets your makeup with a slight sheen. Just what I needed. This is my first time trying any type of make up setting spray, so i dont have much to compare to. BUT, this one does not leave any residue on the skin which originally concerned me. it smells nice, and so far i like it. Seems to make my makeup last longer then usual

I LOVE this product. Second order so far. If your wondering if this is an miracle in a bottle, no it isn't, but it's pretty close! It does leave a somewhat tight feeling on your face, but you do get use to it if you want to set and matte your face. It does wonders for the contour and blush areas! Not a super fine mister, have to blend excess with fingers. "Sometimes" I do need to powder my t-zone but really it's "depending" on your diet and so many other factors during your day or night before. The shipping was extremely fast! The price was right. To be honest, the time spent without this spray was a nightmare! So I definitely recommend this product! -Haven't experimented with dewy looks, so no review for the dewy spray. ... show more

Its an ok setting spray. It helped my makeup last a tad-bit longer. Its not the best though. Also I wish there was more product in the bottles. They don't last very long. The matte one DID NOT keep me matte though. I feel like it didn't do much of anything. I prefer the dewy one out of the two.
