Inspection of the seams .. all sewn securely. The patch pockets are perfect to hold my phone and tissues (for those allergy days). I wanted a robe with a hood. My robe I had to replace was similar material but heavier. However, there are pluses and minuses for my old robe and new one. My old one had no hood, which I absolutely love on my new one. Can't wait for colder weather to really enjoy it. But my old robe had an extra ribbon sewn into the inside side seam on the right side and the other ribbon was sewn to the outside on the left side. You could tie this little ribbon to ensure that the robe didn't shift or pop open. This new robe doesn't have, but I wish it did. Loved that this is a long cozy bathrobe with a hood. Theres a version without the hood for a dollar or two cheaper but this is worth it. Although I live in a tropical climate- I keep my ac running at 68-72 degrees and when I get out of the shower I get pretty cold pretty fast. I wanted this robe for functionality and not for a certain look. I needed something to wear while blow drying my hair after a shower or if I was about to hop in the shower and forgot something but didnt want to streak through the house. So I needed something cozy but not heavy- kinda preferred something longer as opposed to something that might be too short. This is perfect! The fabric isnt super high quality but definitely feels something middle of the rode like from Target and thankfully not Walmart or Wish LOL. Comfortable enough to wear nude but with my jean shorts and thick dry hair it is a bit warm esspeciallywith the cozy hood up. My husband had to go to the ER recently and the only thing we could get on him to get him out of the house to the hospital was this robe. Several members of the hospital staff complimented him on it.
