I bought this specifically to pre-drill holes in 75 deck spindles. I wanted the holes to be straight up and down and in the same location without spending a lot of time with each spindle. I also have in mind using this on those occasions when I need to drill a hole that is straight up and down or when I need to drill a hole without having the drill bit slide away from where I want the hole. There is a little bit of "drift" as the drill slides down, but that was acceptable for my purposes. I had no trouble fitting my drill to this press and the dimensions of the two drill collars was provided so I was sure it would fit.     • Great for the price
It was not very stable so I added 2 chrome closet rod support L braces 12 inch tall on each side to keep it more accurate drilling the same place without moving side to side. Works good now!

Could not find a drill to fit. I did measure mine before I bought and well, it didn't fit when arrived. I did try several others and couldn't make it work.

This is the biggest piece of junk the threads were stripped out on the base or I’ll fitting screws even after I put it together was not stable my drill wouldn’t fit absolutely useless instructions HORRIBLE PRODUCT!!!!!
